The Horgutu Hydropower Station is located in Hejing County, Bazhou, Xinjiang. It is the third cascade power station in the "two reservoirs and seven levels" plan for hydropower in the middle reaches of the Kaidu River Basin. The development task is to generate electricity under the premise of meeting the downstream ecological water consumption. The Horgutu Hydropower Station project is a second-class (2) type project. The project adopts the water diversion type development. The permanent buildings for water retention, drainage, water diversion and power generation are Grade 2 buildings, and the secondary buildings are Grade 3 buildings. , The normal storage level of the reservoir is 2070 meters, the storage capacity is 4.13 million cubic meters, the total installed capacity is 426,500 kilowatts, and the designed annual power generation capacity is 1.62 billion kilowatt hours. After the project is completed and put into production, it can save 540,000 tons of standard coal, 1.63 million tons of carbon dioxide, 6,253 tons of nitrogen dioxide, and 7,318 tons of dust every year. It is of great significance to help the high-quality development of the local economy.
