The reporter learned from Energy China Gezhouba Electromechanical Company on January 3 that the No. 16 million kilowatt unit on the right bank of the Baihetan Hydropower Station, which the company's Baihetan Electromechanical Project Department undertakes the electromechanical installation and commissioning project, successfully completed the 72-hour trial operation that day and was officially put into commercial use. It has achieved a good start for the commissioning of power generation in 2022.
The No. 16 machine will be put into installation and construction from April 2020, the stator core magnetization test will be completed on November 1, 2021, the rotor hoisting work will be completed on January 31, 2021, and the final assembly will be completed on May 14, 2021. June 2021 The waterless commissioning was completed on the 8th, and it entered the 72-hour trial operation on December 31st. During the period, all the installation work has passed the acceptance and reached the installation standard of Baihetan million-kilowatt high-quality units, and has the conditions for production and power generation as scheduled.

It is understood that in 2021, the project department has successively set the world's first million kilowatt hydro-generator (No. 14) to generate the "first kilowatt-hour of electricity", and the second No. 15 generator has refreshed historical records such as the optimal swing. At the same time, taking advantage of the opportunity of the labor competition of "Fighting the Fourth Quarter and Sprinting the Overall Goal" to ensure that the remaining units are constructed in strict accordance with the standards of high-quality units.

Baihetan Hydropower Station is the largest hydropower station in the world with the largest single-unit capacity and the largest scale under construction.
